Step 5 - Set up your Linkfire links to for the Apple Podcast Affiliate program

What is the Apple Affiliate Program?

Apple allows you to earn commission through its affiliate program. If a user clicks on your link to sign up for a new channel subscription you will earn commission on the first month of a user’s subscription to Apple Podcasts.

 

How to set up your Apple Affiliate on Linkfire

You can integrate your affiliate token with Linkfire so that any Linkfire link sending fans to Apple Podcasts will do so with your affiliate token automatically appended. If you have your affiliate token and API keys on hand, contact your Linkfire account manager so they can implement them. If not, read on for information about where to sign up and where you can find your affiliate account details.

 

It’s easy to join. Simply head to this link and apply. Applications will be reviewed weekly.

 

Once you have been approved and have your affiliate account credentials, please send your affiliate token, application and affiliate API key, and PublisherID (see below) to your dedicated Linkfire account manager so that they can apply it to your Linkfire account and ensure the correct commission rules are applied for your activity.

 

Find your Affiliate Token, Application and API Keys, and PublisherID.

Follow this link to sign in to your affiliate account through Partnerize, Apple's affiliate platform.

After you have been accepted into the affiliate program, you will have a username and password and you will be able to sign in to your Partnerize dashboard. Here you will find all of the relevant information regarding your account and sales generated. This is the information we need:

  • Affiliate Token
  • User Application and API Keys
  • Publisher ID

Affiliate Token

When you log in to your account, look in the upper right-hand corner of your dashboard and on any other page you go to. Here you will find a short alphanumeric code. This is your unique Affiliate Token (also labelled Partner Token in your dashboard). Be sure to copy it carefully (always copy, do not key in the token).

User Application and API Keys Find it ****by navigating to  > Account settings

Find both the User application key and the User API Key on the bottom left-hand side by clicking the eye icon on the right-hand side of the dots. This will reveal each key.

PublisherID Find your PublisherID under  > Partner settings

Send all the above information to your dedicated account manager to have them applied to your Linkfire account. If you are not sure whom you should contact, write to us at podcasts@linkfire.com.
