One of the main strengths of Linkfire is the collection and processing of precious data that helps you make informed marketing decisions. One of the ways we enable this is by letting you tag every link you share with an "activity".
For example, let's say that you share your latest release on the artist's Facebook page. First of all, you should use the appropriate Channel when sharing on that Facebook page. In addition to that, you may want to tag your links with activities such as "morning", "noon", "giveaway" or any other term that accurately describes this particular sharing instance.
Doing so is simple. Just append !activity to any link you share, replacing "activity" with the name of your activity. To make this even simpler, we've created the Activity Link Builder, which generates your activity links for you. Click here to use it.
To use the Link Builder for a particular link, you can also append that link with /activity. This will take you to the Link Builder and pre-fill the Linkfire URL field with your link.
The name you can use for your activity has the following limitations:
- Max 50 characters
- No special characters
- No punctuation
