Rescanning your links ensures they’re always updated with the newest content. Rescans search for the latest cover art, metadata, service destinations, and more.
Business Advanced and Premium users can also schedule rescans ahead of time, ensuring that you get the newest results the moment releases are available on various music services.
Be aware that release times communicated by your distributor could fluctuate, which means the release may actually not be available for us to find at the exact time. Because of that, we recommend that you don't start promotion on the dot of the expected release time, as we might not be able to find the release on all DSPs immediately.
Rescans can be carried out in two ways: a full rescan of your link, which will update all the link’s services, or a rescan of individual services one at a time.
Perform a full rescan
To set-up a full rescan, click "Rescan link" under "SETUP" when editing your link. In the next window, you can choose which sections of your link will be overwritten if new content is found. For example, you might want to skip updating the 'Social card', if you've already customized the text and artwork for that section.
As default, the rescan is set to use the original source, but if you wish to provide a new URL or UPC/ISRC code you can change that here too.
Once you are happy with your rescan settings, click "Rescan now."
Scheduling rescans (Business Advanced and Business Premium users only)
If you wish to plan a rescan ahead of time tick the "Schedule rescan" checkbox. You can then select the date and time of your future rescan. You can also choose at this point to only scan certain services, by choosing them from the drop-down. To perform a full rescan, choose "All services" from the drop-down.
When you have filled out these fields, click the "Schedule rescan" button. Once a rescan is scheduled, the selected services will be rescanned repeatedly for 24 hours or until a match is found.
When a result is found, it is automatically added to your Service destinations section. If the result is a 95% match or higher, we will automatically add it to the landing page. If the match percentage is lower, please review the result in "Service destinations."
You can also review all of your scheduled rescans—simply click the tab "Upcoming rescans." To delete one of these scheduled rescans, click the rubbish bin icon to the right of its name.
Schedule Rescan for Individual Services
Business Advanced and Business Premium users only.
You can also schedule a rescan for individual services. Go to the "Service destinations" section, and click the name of a service to open a drop-down. Then choose "Schedule Rescan"
Check the URL for scanning and set the date and time where you want the rescan to happen. Then click "Done" to save it.

Rescan by Service
Perform an immediate scan of one specific service by clicking the circular arrow to the left of the “Default” territory. This is useful if you want to rescan one service with a different source URL. For example, scanning Amazon CD & Vinyl for a particular box set. Just put the new source in “Default” and then click “Rescan now”.
