When you click “Get Future Releases” on a landing page, you’re subscribing to receive new music automatically from your favourite artist as soon as it’s released.
No need to pre-save every time!
What Happens When I click “Get Future Releases”?
Once you click “Get Future Releases”:
- You’ll be subscribed to that artist’s upcoming music.
- New tracks and albums that are promoted through Linkfire will be automatically added to your library on the selected music service as soon as they are released.
- You’ll be sent an email when the release has been added to your library, so you can listen right away*
*Email notifications are not supported for pre-save subscriptions with Apple Music, Tidal, or YouTube Music at this time.
Why Use This Feature?
- Never miss a release from artists you love.
- Frictionless experience – set it once and forget it.
- It’s the fastest way to get new music in your library the moment it drops.
- No repeated clicking or re-entering your details.
Can I opt out?
Yes—there are two ways to stop receiving new music or notifications from artists you've subscribed to via a Linkfire pre-save.
1. Unsubscribe via email (artist-specific)
If you're receiving emails when a new track is released, you can opt out directly from the link in the email. This removes you from that specific artist’s update list—meaning:
- You’ll no longer receive emails about music from that artist.
-
You’ll no longer have new music added to your library from their pre-saves.
Note: Email notifications are only supported if you opted in with your email address. Not all streaming services make this available.
2. Disconnect your music accounts (all artists)
You can also revoke Linkfire’s access (or, in some cases, a label's access) to your streaming service. This will stop all future pre-saves, across any artists you previously subscribed to via Linkfire links.
Note: Some artist pre-save links—particularly from Universal Music Group (UMG) and Warner Music Group (WMG)—use their own Spotify apps. You may see multiple apps (e.g., Linkfire, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group) in your account settings. Disconnecting all relevant apps ensures full opt-out.
How to remove access from each music service:
