Linkfire’s email capture feature is one of the easiest ways to grow your email list, and makes it a no-brainer for your fans to sign up.
Follow the step-by-step guide below to learn how to add the “email sign-up” service to your artists’ bio links, and start growing their fan base.
Add email capture to a bio link
1. Setup your bio link
To set up a bio link, start by clicking on the “Create Link” button and choosing “Bio” link type.
2. Edit your bio link
- Go to “Edit” for your bio link.
- Select “Contents”.
- Click on the “+ Add Content Blocks” button at the bottom of your screen
- Select the “Email Sign Up” block
3. Add email list and form ID
You can update the title of your email capture form, as well as include a description to provide your audience with some added context. If you have multiple email lists (e.g. “News and Updates” “Events and tour information”), you can also list them by clicking “+ Add Email List”. You can add up to three mailing lists.
For each list you need to input the following:
-
- Email list name (this will be displayed next to a tick box on the email capture screen)
- IFB Form ID (Example format -MdN7AC_tUYkx_T_8N)
- IFB Address Book ID (Example format 12423523)
Please note
|
Once you’re happy with your set-up, select “Update” in the top right corner of your page. The “Email Sign Up” block will now be added to the bio link landing page and ready for visitors to input their email address.
4. Email capture
Once fans click on the email sign up block, they will be presented with an email capture screen, with the option to opt-in to up to 3 mailing lists. If a fan signs up to a mailing list, Linkfire sends the email address straight to the IFB mailing list, ready for you to contact on future marketing emails.
