With a Linkfire release link, you can easily direct fans to your music in their app of choice. Release links are the most popular link type on Linkfire, as it's used to create a landing page for a single or album available on multiple services and stores.
To create a release link, you must use a valid music URL. This is typically a link to a track or an album on a music service like Apple Music or Spotify. Click the green “Create link” button in the upper right-hand corner of your dashboard, choose “Release” as your link type, and click “Continue”. Then paste in your copied URL and you will be directed to the page looking like the screenshot below.
Here you can customize the title, tag your campaign, add a subdomain, edit the short code and change the image.
Once you have customized your link, click the green “Create link” button and our scanner will find music matches on other services. Afterward, you will be redirected to your dashboard where you can get the link for sharing.
When the link is ready, it will be marked with a blue text saying “Ready for Review”. Click this to access the “SETUP” and “CUSTOMIZE” sections which are where you can manage the details of your link further.
The most important section is "Service destinations", where you can add new services and see all music matches that we have found for your release.
Add any service you wish to include on your landing page by hitting the “Add service” and simply search for the name of the service. You can tell by the blue “A” or grey “M” next to the service if it’s an Automated integration or a Manual integration.
If the service is automated, Linkfire will automatically find a match on the service once you perform a rescan. If you’re adding several automated services, go to “Rescan link” from the left side menu to performn a rescan across all services and find matches for your release for the new services. If you only added a single service, find that service on the list and click the dropdown and click the round arrow to the right of the service.
If the service is not an automated integration, you'll need to add the direct URL manually.
In the "Customize" section you can change the order of the music services on your landing page, de-activate services and get a preview of how your social cards will look when you share your link on Facebook and Twitter and change the copy.
