How to add African streaming services to your landing pages

Tap into the fast-growing music market in Africa by adding local streaming services to your links and landing pages.

Geotarget your landing pages for Africa

Whenever you use automated integrations, the list of services that a fan sees on your landing page will automatically adjust to what’s available in their location. Linkfire has more than 50 automated service integrations—which means that you get better results from your marketing efforts without any extra work.

If you’re on the Teams or Enterprise plan, you can display or hide any music service for any country by creating a territory-specific landing page. This allows you to fine-tune the landing page experience even further, for both automated and manual service integrations.

Here’s an example of how you might set up territories for the local African streaming services listed above: If someone in Ghana clicks your link, they’ll see Aftown included on the landing page, alongside regional services like Audiomack and global players like Spotify. And if another fan from Nigeria clicks on that same link, they’ll be shown uduX instead of Aftown.

By setting up territory-specific landing pages, each of your fans will get a tailored experience that matches their location and preferences.

 

Make a service default in your board settings (for Teams and Enterprise clients only)

To make a service automatically appear on all links created within your board, add it directly to your "Board settings" under the “Services” section.

You can also remove unwanted services from your board settings by clicking ‘x’ next to the name of the service.

For Pro and Teams plan users: If the music service you’re looking to add is not available, just reach out to your dedicated account manager, and we’ll set it up for you.

Add an African service destination to a specific link

  1. Go to the “SETUP” section of your link and select “Service destinations.”
  2. Select “+ Add Service” at the top right of the screen. HC_image_1.png

  3.  Type in the service destination you’re looking to add and select it.

  4. If the service is an automated integration, Linkfire will automatically find a match on the service once you perform a rescan.

    To rescan, click on the name of the service and then select “Schedule Rescan.” For personal/creator plans without the rescan feature, head back to “General” after adding the service you wish to include on your landing page, and click “Rescan Now.”

  5. If the service is not an automated integration, simply copy and paste the direct URL.HC_image_2.png

  6. Repeat steps 2–5 for any additional African service you’re looking to add.

  7. Check out the landing page preview under “landing page” to reorder the services and make other customisations.

That’s it! You’re now ready to share your link.
